Manifesting Goals and Resolutions for the New Year (2023 Goals)

New year resolutions have gotten a bit of a bad reputation it seems. 

This year you can set your 2023 resolutions and have the tools you need to make these 2023 goals come to life!

Every year many people make these resolutions that will help make this year the best one ever, but then fall flat on their goals, sometimes within the first few weeks of the new year. 

Once the momentum has been lost, it can be really hard to get back on track again. 

Since this happens to so many people, a lot of them have started hating on new years resolutions. 

I have to say that I’m actually a huge fan of new year resolutions, and am even able to make quite a few of them come true year after year. 

When setting goals for the year, it’s important to know that it doesn’t mean things are set in stone. Things can change.

Sometimes you may decide that you want to change the vision through the year, and that’s fine!

That doesn’t mean the resolution has failed, it instead just means that you have decided what you want and are working towards it, even if that includes scrapping some ideas along the way.

Create a Vision Board

The start of a new year is a great time to start a vision board for manifesting goals for the year ahead!

Many people feel very motivated at the beginning of the new year to make this the year that their goals come true. 

Use this time to hold on to that momentum and create a vision board that encapsulates the photos, words, and vibe of what you want to bring in this year.

Some years the vision board may work better than others depending on how you’re feeling.

Sometimes the vision may change so you aren’t vibing with your vision board a few months into the year. That’s fine! You can change things as you go! 

Be sure to keep your vision board up where you can see it so that you’re being reminded of your goals every day.

This also helps your subconscious mind keep your goals front and center so it will help to guide you on a path that will lead you to your end goals.

I have seen so much success with my vision boards over the years, especially when it comes to physical items that I want to manifest into my life.

Here are some of the fun vision board successes I’ve brought into my life just this year:

My favourite actually happened last year where I manifested a brand new car within the first 4 months of the year! Plus, I actually manifested a car that was a level up from what I had originally put on my vision board!

I hope that this list shows your there are truly no items too big or too small to add to your vision board.

This upcoming year, I’m going to be adding a lot of travel to my vision board! The current plan is England, Denmark, Sweden, Vancouver and Toronto!

Start Scripting

Scripting is a great way to get into the vibe of manifesting what you want when you’re setting up your yearly goals. 

Scripting is essentially journaling about what you want as if it were actively happening in your life right now. 

You of course don’t need anything fancy for this other than paper and a pen, but it could be fun to grab a new notebook that you really like so that you feel an extra level of happiness and excitement when you go to write down your dream life/experience.

When you’re scripting, you want to get into the feeling of already having what it is that you want. 

Write in detail the experience you’re wanting to have, and really use all of your senses while you’re doing this. You can also put on some music that you love to help elevate you into the best energy you can be in.

55×5 Law of Attraction Method

This one also has to do with writing, but it’s actually a really different method.

I love using the 55×5 technique when I’m planning my yearly goals.

When you’re doing 55×5, you want to find a short but powerful affirmation that you feel really good about. You want it to be as short as possible, otherwise this process can take a long time and possibly deter you from finishing.

Once you find an affirmation that really resonates with you and feels really good for you, you’re going to write it down 55 times every day for 5 days straight.

This really works best if you’re hand writing these affirmations vs. typing.

While you’re writing all 55 of these down, try to stay in the vibe of what you’re manifesting already being real in your life. You can also use music to get you into the right energy for this, but what I usually tend to do is put on some binaural sounds that have to do with the topic I’m manifesting in to try to make the energy as powerful as possible.

Another thing I do at the end of writing my affirmation 55 times, is I will say the affirmation out loud 55 times with as much positive energy as I can (without it being fake. You really want to be as much in the feeling of having it be real as is possible for you).

I actually feel that after implementing this into my life, my success rate has gone up! I highly recommend it to those of you who are wanting to start manifesting goals into your reality.

Use Daily Affirmations

Affirmations are a great way to quickly get into the energy of already having what you want that you can use any time during the day.

It’s great to use affirmations as a new year manifestation method.

Create some affirmations around your goals that make you feel really good when you say them, and repeat them to yourself throughout the day.

You can literally use this at pretty much any point during your day. It could be great to start them first thing in the morning while you’re getting ready so that you bring that energy with you throughout the day.

3-6-9 Manifestation Method

Another manifestation tool that you can use which is a much quicker one if you’re short on time is the 3-6-9 method.

To use the 369 Law of Attraction method all you have to do is write down what you want at specific points throughout the day. 

3 times in the morning

6 times in the afternoon

9 times in the evening

Like with the 55×5 method, you should just focus on one topic at a time so that your energy is really flowing well to what you’re trying to achieve.

Two Cup Method

The two cup method is a very hands on technique that you can use for manifesting goals. 

Basically you’re using two cups, one filled with water and one empty. You’ll be using the full one to represent your current reality and the empty one is the reality that you would like to have. 

By exchanging the water from the glass representing your current reality to the one representing the reality you want to create, it’s said that you’re essentially quantum leaping.

Letting Go with Law of Attraction

It’s really important to learn the art of letting go as you use the Law of Attraction. 

Once you use any of the methods above that feel the best for you (or possibly all of them – that’s totally fine too!) you then want to let go of the thought and go on about your day.

If you spend time obsessing over what you want, especially when you’re in the energy of not having it yet, that can really sabotage your manifestation from coming to fruition. 

After finishing with your manifestation routine, just go about your day as you normally would.

If the thought of your manifestation does come up, you don’t have to shut it down though. Just acknowledge the thought and give gratitude for what you’re thinking about knowing that it is currently becoming your reality, then release the thought and think about something else.
